Medium_pot_plant Hanging plant.

I have a pot mounted on a wall.(see pic).I would like to plant a flowering,hanging plant.I had Ivy Geranium planted before,but the possums eat them.Any suggestions? It's in full sun position and I live in a Brisbane suburb.

Pelargoniums or geraniums are great for the hanging baskets due to their dropping form and lovely flowers.

For your basket you have a wide range of choices. Look at plants that are hard wearing and don’t require too much care. Ones to consider are the native pig face (carpobrotus glaucescens) and Blue Chalk Sticks (Senecio spp.) to change the colour up a bit.

Other plants to consider are more pelargoniums or some native daisies such as the Brachyscome multifida or you might also like to look at our Yates Seeds, Hanging Basket Mix for a great display of coloured flowers.

Just be sure to feed your plants regularly with Thrive Naturals Roses and Flowers Liquid to assist with their flowering potential.
