My little gem magnolia are pot bound. I would like to from the roots and replant into the same pots.

How do I best re pot them without shocking them?

Answer: Hi Belinda, you need to be careful of the tap root which will be the main root, you can prune the fibrous roots neatly…. use a seaweed tonic before and after, we have the Thrive natural range that you can use. Firstly you need to untangle the roots and shake a little bit of the soil off but not all of it and plant in a premium potting mix, if the roots are too advanced you may have to change the pot size.
