Wilted shoot of fuchsia. will it survive?

Fuchsia (in pot, shaded) burnt out and almost died during a recent heat wave. Fortunately, a little shoot has sprung out and growing until 2 days ago when it looked dry. Despite watering, it is completely wilted today! Why? How do I save it? It’s only 2cm, will it survive? That's all in have left of the plant:(

Answer: Hi Lynn, make sure that your fuchsia is in a protected area, tip prune to promote new growth, when you see a little more growth on your plant and use a little bit of seaweed tonic around the roots.
