Can I put sphagnum Moss around my pot plants to prevent them from drying out? Ruth

Submitted: 04:50PM, 02 Feb 2015
Answer: Sphagnum moss can be placed on the surface of potted plants to retain moisture.
You may wish to take care when fertilising with a soluble fertiliser, apply the solution beneath the moss to prevent it from turning green in colour.
