How do I control/edradicate Dendrobium Beetles?

They are making a mess of my orchid blooms and more than I can crush seem to be attacking my orchids.

Answer: Dear Gary,

Dendrobium beetle is a difficult pest to control. There is no product registered to control this pest. The adult beetle will lay its eggs on the new growth. Inspect your orchids in the evening and early morning and remove them manually. Have a bucket or container handy when inspecting the foliage so you can successfully capture the beetles as they fall off the leaf into the container.
