Bruce
Can confidor tablets be used with vegetables? I keep losing my seedling basil, beans, cucumbers.

I have no idea what invisible creatures eat my seedlings. Thanks for assistance. Bruce.

Answer: Hi Bruce,
Confidor tablets are only registered for non edible plants and therefore cannot be used on your vegetables or herbs.
Caterpillars can be a pest of seedlings and you may find them hiding on the back of the leaf along the main rib. These can be easily and safely treated with Yates Success. Yates Success contains spinosad which is a naturally occurring beneficial soil microbe.

Also check for snails and slugs which may leave a slime trail.

Often the best time to check for pests is early in the morning of late atfernoon just prior to dusk.
