When do I spray my new peaches to prevent fruit fly infestation?

Answer: Hi Peter,
After flowering finishes it is important to set fruit fly traps to monitor the male fruit fly population. As soon as the male flies are trapped then it is time to start treating for the female fruit fly. Nature’s Way Fruit Fly Control is a low toxic product that contains a protein ans sugar based vbait which attracts the furuit flies. You apply it as a band or a spot spray to the truck or lower foliage of the trees. Apply weekly and re-apply if it has rained.
