Answer: Hi Ann, The timing of fruit fly treatment is critical and one of the best options is to set up a fruit fly trap which contains a pheremone that attracts the male fuit fly. Once the male fruit flies are present then applications of Nature’s Way Fruit Fly Control commence. This contains spinosad which is a naturally occuring beneficial soil bacteria, a protein and sugar based bait.It is applied as either a band or a spot spray to the trunk or lower foliage. Repeat weekly or sooner if there has been rain. Do not apply directly to the fruit.
