how do you get rid of the black hibiscus beetle

they are attacking my newly planted lilly pillies

Thank you for contacting Yates.

It is very strange that the Hibiscus Flower Beetle is attacking your Lilly Pillies. Their main plants or choice are the Hibiscus, Magnolias and Abutilons. If you are unsure if it is this pest, please send us a photo through our live chat service so that we may identify it for you.

However, if you are sure that this is the pest causing this damage you can apply Confidor Liquid Concentrate to the Lilly Pilly. This product is registered to target the beetle on ornamental plants.
