We have a potted christmas bush about 1yr old. It has round or oval white substances attached to the stems

that appear to have a brown liquid appearance inside them when squeezed. Can you advise what they are please?

Answer: Hello Barry,

Sounds like a case of scale insect infestation. We recommend Yates Pest Oil. It’s available in both a convenient ready to use spray and a concentrate form. For more info, click here: http://www.yates.com.au/products/pest-control/insects-ready-to-use/pest-oil-ready-to-use/

All the very best in the garden.

Kind regards,

Matt
