Can I use Yates Success ultra to kill mealy bugs on succulents?

Submitted: 12:07PM, 22 May 2016
Answer: Hello Marina,

Thank you for contacting Yates with your enquiry. Yates Success Ultra is not approved for this application, the correct product (for longtailed mealybug on ornamental succulents) is Yates Confidor Insecticide. This should not be applied when/where bees are active or likely to be (i.e. during flowering). Always read and follow label directions very carefully. You may also consider Yates PestOil, keeping in mind some varieties may be sensitive to the product.

Kind regards,

Matt
