Medium_015 grub inside our pepinos

I have a pepino bush with a lot of fruit,I have noticed quite a few of the fruit have holes in them.When i slice them open there is a darkish interior and a small grub inside.I have thrown all the bad ones away.What is this grub and what should i be spraying with.Thankyou for your answer in advance.

Answer: Hello Gloria,

The culprit appears to be a caterpillar and certainly has made a mess of that fruit!

Yates Pyrethrum Insect Pest Killer is approved for use against caterpillars on vegetables. It may function as a preventative spray, applied when pests (the egg-laying adults in this case) first appear.
