John
I have burrowing grubs in my weeping mulberry. All affected part have been cut out. Should I spray Confidor 20

The grubs burrow into the tree/branches and eat down the centre causing die back. They are possibly weevil grubs. I have cut out all the affected parts that I can see. Would it be a good idea to spray with Confidor 20 LS and if so how often and what dilution rate. Thanks.

Answer: Hi John, we don’t sell that version of Confidor here in Australia so I can not really recommend it for the problem on your plant. One thing that mulberries do get is caterpillars, I’m not sure what is available to you but if this is the case then Pyrethrum based product would be best but read the label before you use it to make sure it is registered for the problem you have.
