Has Malathion been withdrawn? Good with Vegemite for fruit fly bait.I prefer it to spinosad.

Answer: Hi Mike,

Thank you for contacting us regarding Malathion. You are right, we do not manufacture any products containing malathion. It is of low toxicity; however, absorption or ingestion into the human body readily results in its metabolism to malaoxon, which is substantially more toxic. Alternatively, try Yates Nature’s Way Fruit Fly Control. It works by tricking the insect into absorbing the spinosad that has been combined with an irresistible bait.
