Hi codling moth on an old pear tree. When do you spray Success ultra & the frequency

Also not sure which product to use Ultra or Lebaycid

Answer: Hi Zita,
Its best to spray Success ultra(Lebaycid is no longer to be used on edible crops) when the blossoms are gone and the leaves are prominant. The young larvae will pupate and start eating the leaves which is the best time to get them. It will still benefit your tree to use a bit of hession on the tree to catch them as they move up and down the trunk.
