When you say weed and feed may need a 2nd application ,does that mean immediately or after 4 weeks?

Answer: Hi Ken,

Usually one application during spring when the weeds are actively growing is enough to kill those broadleaf weeds that may be present in your lawn.

Applying a lawn fertiliser after the weeds have been eliminated will help to make the roots of the grass stronger giving it the ability to choke out any further unwanted weeds.

You may need to apply the Weed n Feed again in late summer/early winter if you find the weeds are re-appearing.
We would normally say applying Weed n Feed twice a year in spring and autumn is sufficient to control the weeds in your lawn area.
