I have an established lawn however it's very patchy and there are a lot of weeds growing through. I would like to grow couch grass or something hardy and quick growing as we have dogs. Is there a type of grass seed that I can use over the top of the patch

Answer: Couch is a warm season grass so it’s best to sow it in late spring it midsummer in your region. To repair the patches you could use Yates Easy Patch Lawn Repair. This product contains Perennial Ryegrass, Annual Ryegrass, Red Fescue as well as Couch.
You can use also use Yates Weed ‘n’ Feed to help control the weeds in your lawn. If your existing lawn is a buffalo grass you should Yates Buffalo Pro Bindii and Broadleaf Weed Killer. These products will control broadleaf weeds in your lawn.
