It has slowly started to take over a section of my lawn, i am unsure of the type of grass i have, however it can be made out in the picture.

Answer: Hi Caleb,
This little grass thats popping up in your lawn is called Dichondra or kidney weed. Its a native grass that can tolerate all soils and is common in Sydney region. We don’t have anything in our range to control it,they only way to remove it would be by hand.
