Could you tell me the most prolific tomato plant to buy.

Answer: Hi Rhonda,

There are a number of varieties of tomato which you could plant that will give you a good yield. Grosse Lisse is a large smooth tomato with great flavour. Summertaste will grow just about anywhere in Australia, is disease resistant and is particularly good to grow in the warmer climates. Tiny Tim has a compact growth, sweet fruit and doesn’t need staking. When planting out, make sure you incorporate plenty of organic matter into the soil, have free draining soils and plant in a sunny position, at least 6 hours of sunlight a day. Have fun growing this delicious summer fruit.
