DAVID
Something is stripping my kale of its foliage.

I have tried companion planting with onions hoping to rid whatever it is that is leaving the healthy stems of the foliage. The plants haven't died they are still green and try to grow new leaves. I see no snails in the area. I am growing them in pots like my spinach. I don't have any problems with the spinach.

Answer: More than likely, caterpillars are stripping your kale leaves. You may be able to see them feeding if you go outside during the evening with a torch.

Yates Natures Way Success will control caterpillars. The following link offers more information about this product.
