My rocket leaves have yellowed. could it be from the pyrethrum I sprayed on them to control the pests

Answer: Hi Kath,

Yellowing of leaves on your rocket plant could indicate a nutrient deficiency.

Pyrethrum is a natural insecticide which is used to control sap sucking insects such as aphids, thrips, white fly and caterpillars. It would not cause the leaves to go yellow.

At this stage to improve the health of your rocket, it would be best to apply a soluble fertiliser such as Thrive All Purpose Soluble fertiliser or Uplift Organic Liquid Fertiliser. Both of these fertilisers will supply the necessary nutrient your plant will need to produce good strong lush green growth.
