I'm having trouble raising chilling from seed, any suggestions ? Thanks

Answer: Dear Marshall,

Chilli is a warm season plant and is frost susceptible. The best time to sow the seed is spring to early summer. Perhaps your temperatures are still a little cool making it difficult for the seed to germinate. You might like to try sowing the seed into trays and put them in a warm spot under cover until the temperatures are a little warmer. Keep the trays covered at night with either glass or plastic wrap to keep in the warmth. The seed should take about 10-14 days to germinate. Keep the soil moist but not too wet.
