Carolyn
what potting mix do you need to grow vegetables in foam boxes

I plan on growing silverbeet, beans and peas and lettuce in some foam boxes and some herbs in an old clay pot.

Answer: Dear Carolyn,
You will need to use a good quality potting mix such as Yates Professional Potting Mix. This potting mix contains a slow release fertiliser that will feed up to twelve months. It also Dynamic Lifter Organic fertiliser which will feed the plants and promote beneficial bacterial activity. This potting mix is suitable for all types of plants including vegetables and herbs.
