I am growing tomatoes, they look healthy plenty of fruit, but they get a kind of rot at the end.

Answer: Hi Akram,

Thank you for contacting Yates regarding your tomatoes, what happens is that the supply of calcium is not adequate to form the fruit properly. There are couple of reasons why this may occur. Lack of calcium available to the plant at certain times through its growth and moisture levels to the plant not maintained on a regular basis.

For next season, it’s a good idea to incorporate Yates Garden Lime and Yates Dynamic Lifter to the soil and ensure you water regularly throughout the season.

Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to help the affected fruit, but usually not all the fruit is affected and you will still be able to enjoy your harvest.
