Hi I have rust on my silverbeet leaves. Is it still safe to eat? Thanks

Answer: Hi Tara,

Thank you for contacting Yates regarding your veggies, it is safe to eat rust infected leaves as it’s a fungal disease to plants not animals, however, it may effect the taste of the dish and make sure wash and cook well. Alternatively, to control the rust, you may try to spray your silver beet with some Yates Lime Sulfur, Insect and Disease Control, which has no withholding period.
