My zucchini has grown and produced fruit, but near the soil level it looks like it is dead. What caused this?

Answer: Hi Deborah,

Thank you for contacting us regarding zucchini plant. As a fast growing annual, Zucchinis only take 5-8 weeks from sow to mature, then the plant will gradually die down after fruiting. If you are in warmer area, Zucchinis can be grown all year around. However, if you are located in temperate area, spring would be the time to resow.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Best Regards,
Louise
