My capsicums keep falling off before they get big enough and when do you pick them

Submitted: 05:44PM, 04 Feb 2016
Answer: Capsicums are a tasty addition to the vegetable garden. It’s hard to say the exact cause of your problem. Depending on which variety you are growing when they change colour is a good indication of when they are ready to pick. this is hard to gauge when you are growing green capsicums.
If your capsicums are still very small when they fall off it might be a pollination issue, if they are still small but slightly lager it might be a water and nutrient problem. Make sure you water them regularly and deeply. Also apply Thrive Flower and Fruit while they are flowering and the fruit is developing to make sure they are receiving all the nutrient they need.
