Starting to grow herbs and veggies in a planter box 1mtr long by 500 high.

What soil do I use to start.
Can I use "Dynamic Lifter plant food"
and do I need anything else

Answer: Hi Daniela,

Essentially the simple answer is to buy the best compost that you can afford. Get a good quality one which includes fertiliser and water retaining gel. Yates professional Mix is a good quality product.

Into this mix Yates Cow Manure and blood and bone. You can also add garden compost to the blend too, if you have some well rotted compost of your own.
