HI I have a tree fern under my shade cloth pagola that is getting to tall Can i cut it half way down the trunk and replant it Or do you have any other suggestions Thank you Peter

Answer: if the tree fern is a Dicksonia species then yes the top can be cut off with a saw and re-planted. The bottom will not re-grow. the taller cyathea species is not suitable for this technique.
