I have several frost affected plants, including a jasmine vine in a terracotta tub. Should I prune back now?

I live in ACT where further frosts are still expected. Other plants affected include marguerite daisies & gardenias, (e.g. dead looking limbs on daisies, and browning/dead leaves on gardenias), should I prune them all now or leave for few more weeks?

Answer: Hi Colleen,
This winter has been much colder than previous years and although we are now in September the nights are still cool.
I suggest you wait a few more weeks before pruning the dead and frost affected leaves and stems.

Have you tried spraying the plants with Yates DroughtSheild at the onset of cold weather. This provides a protective thin polymer film on the leaves but still allows the plants to grow. It helps protect the plants against frost damage.
