Got a 1 metre tall Eurphorbia plant, have a brown blotch on its body just above soil level, is this normal?

It is grown in a big pot. Is this normal ageing behaviour or is it sign of poor health?

Answer: Hi Cecilia,
We have had very wet, humid weather in Sydney and the incidence of fungal diseases has risen. I suggest you watch the Euphorbia carefully over the next few weeks to ensure the blotch does not spread. If the stem becomes soft then an application of Anti Rot may help the plant recover.
Anti Rot is systemic and will translocate throughout the plant.
Apply some seaweed booster or Yates Uplift to help improve the health of the plant.
