How do a prune my gardenia so that it gets bushier at the bottom? At the moment it is leggy and has a few main branches with leaves up higher. It says to "tip prune" but i don't understand what this means?

Answer: Hi there,
The term tip prune means to take off the the foliage down to the first node. This will promote some new growth on your plant.
