Hi, My geraldton wax is a metre high. The bottom of the plant is scraggly with bare branches.I want it bushier

Is there a certain way I can prune it so it thickens up all over? When is it best to prune? It has just started to flower now.

Answer: Hi Judy,
Geralton Wax is a spreading bush that generally flowers in late Winter to early Spring. After flowering prune hard at least 1/3 of the plant and this will help the plant to bush up. They are best grown in full sun, with perfect drainage and slightly alkaline conditions.
