Carolyn
I replanted two lavender bushes, and am afraid I did not water them in well enough. They look dead! How can I tell if they will revive?

They are brown, wilting, and there is no green when I break a stem.

Answer: Hi Carolyn, lavenders do not transplant well once established. (ok to plant out of a pot when small). From your description the plants are already quite dead. Need to start again with fresh plants or strike some cuttings from a healthy plant.
