Hibiscus. Young buds drop off before opening. Well watered. Harsh country in central WA.

Planted in potting mix and a little fertalisr to help. Seems to be no insects or birds.

Answer: Dear Terry,

Inspect your tree for insects such as the the hibiscus flower beetle. This beetle is often responsible for bud and flower drop. Spray with a product called Confidor to control this nuisance beetle.
