Pyrus bare rooted trees planted 2 wks ago, looking droopy ever since and now black leaves. Planted into hole containing 80% soil improver, 20% cow manure and some water crystals. Watered first day with 1 dose Seasol and normal water every day since. Sprayed with Drought Shield. In full sun. What's happening and what can I do?

Answer: Hi Danelle,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Looks like the plant is suffering from transplant shock, I would suggest to keep the watering up and water in with some Dynamic Lifter Liquid Concentrate. It’s an organically certified fertiliser, which contains seaweed, blood&bone and fish meal to help developing new roots and restoring healthy growth. Click here for more info: http://www.yates.com.au/products/fertilising/organic-based/dynamic-lifter-liquid-concentrate

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Best Regards,
Louise
