Will my hydrangeas survive?

I bought 7 hydrangea a week ago at Bunnings. I haven't planted them in my garden yet but have them where I want them to go. They get morning sun until just before 11am. I live in Ipswich, Queensland. The flowers look floppy in the afternoon but once I water them they are good again at night. Will they survive once I plant them?

Answer: Hi Christine,

Thank you for contacting Yates, planting Hydrangea in ground would help moist retaining comparing to grow in pots, you may also dig in some Dynamic Lifter Organic Plant Food when planting which will help improve the soil structure. Consider mulching the soil and watering early morning during the hot months. I am sure your Hydrangea will perform well.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Louise
