When is the best time to prune hydranges & can you still fertilise camellias - sasanqua & japonica.

Answer: You should prune hydrangea as soon as the flowers begin to fade. To keep the plant vigorous selectively prune out the dead and weak stems, don’t prune out all the old wood as this is where your flowers will come from while the new growth is maturing. It is best to prune back to two plump buds on the stem.
To fertilise camellias you can use Dynamic Lifter in autumn and spring at the rate recommended on the pack for acid loving plants.
