i have a potted Mandarine that needs insecticide treatment - would Confidor tables be suitable?

i have been spraying regularly but cant help wondering if some of the "critters" are in the potted soil, hence using the tablets?

Answer: You haven’t mentioned which insect you are spraying however, Confidor tablets are not registered for use on any edible plants.
Confidor in general, cannot be used on any bearing citrus plant that is, any tree in flower or fruit.
It is registered only for non-bearing (no flowers/no fruit) citrus so if you sprayed the tree when it was in blossom or fruit then I would advise you to remove the immature and mature fruit and not eat it.
