Answer: Hi Daniel,
Your plum tree will now be flowering and shortly forming fruit. You are quite right, it won’t be long now until you will need to protect your plums from fruit fly infestation. Determine when you will be picking your plums, and then 6 weeks previous to that date start spraying the Lebaycid. This will be the first spray. Two weeks later spray again and then spray every week until 1 week before picking the fruit. You will then need to wait 3 days after the last spray before picking the fruit.
