why do the leaves on my tomato plants die off and turn to dust yet I have perfectly good tomatoes

the plants grow perfect until the fruit starts to mature the all the folage dies

Tomato russet mite can cause tomato leaves to brown off. The mites are spread by wind and other insects and prefer warm, dry conditions. The leaves can initially appear silvery and normally start closer to the ground before progressing up the plant. The damage rarely become apparent until the time of fruit set or afterwards.
Nature’s Way Insect and Mite Killer which contains natrasoap can be used to control the mites if the outbreak is very sever. keep the plant as health as possible with adequate water and fertiliser. You may like to try Dynamic Lifter for Tomatoes.
