Yvonne
Passionfruit vine lots of fruit, well formed however there is very little seed in them. Lots are empty altogether, are they lacking something

The vine is about 3 to 4 years old and located on the side of a shed.. It gets lots of sun in the winter months and we have shaded it in this super hot weather as last year it got scorched.... some of the fruit have thick shells... it gets regularly watered

Answer: Hi Yvonne, sounds like you are deficient in potassium. Apply sulfate of potash every month in sandy soil or every 2 months in heavy soil. You will also need to use a complete fertiliser in spring and then 3 more feeds through the summer to make sure other elements are present. Dynamic Lifter for fruit and citrus is good.
