My black Muscat grapes do not ripen. The beads form, but then drop off as they start to get colour.

They are also erratic with the colour development. That is, on the same bunch, some beads are very green, while others have fallen off (with dark colour)
They seem to be somewhat "dry" not juicy as would be expected...

My parents used to grow Black Muscat quite successfully near Brisbane a long time ago

It’s hard for us to determine exactly what has gone wrong with your plant. Can you please provide more information regarding the plant?

-How the plant has been fed and watered?
-What is the aspect of the plant? Eg. Full sun, part shade
-Has the soil been improved or disturbed recently?
-Can you see any pests or diseases?
-Are you able to attach any photos of the issue?
