Medium_img_9523 Multiple symptoms on lemon tree

Hi there, our lemon tree is showing multiple symptoms and we are not sure exactly what it is suffering from.
Some young leaves at the top are dark red with green spots. Lots of the leaves around the middle section look torn and edges are deformed, holes on some. The leaves at the bottom look healthy and fine.
Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Answer: Hi Ben

Thank you for contacting Yates regarding your citrus, the purple new foliage for lemon is normal, nothing to worry too much about, as the new leaves grow, it will turn to green. However, it’s a good time to spray the foliage to prevent citrus leaf miner which can cause leaf curling and distorting, Try Yates Nature’s Way Citrus & Ornamental Spray to prevent that. Click here for more info: http://www.yates.com.au/products/organic-gardening/pest-disease-control/Natures-Way-citrus-and-ornamental-spray/. As for the yellowing leaves, it shows more trace element deficiency, The product you need to apply is Yates Health Tonic, Trace Element Chelates. You can see a picture of the product using the below link.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.
