Sandy
Hi, we recently purchased a house (3 months ago) with 2 big mango trees but they are not baring any fruit!

Could them being overgrown and need pruning be the cause of this?
Is there anything I could buy to help things along?
Kind Regards,
Sandy

Answer: Hi There,
Your trees as long as there are no black spots or damage on the trunk should be fine, they may need a really good feed to get them flowering. Use some dynamic lifter around the tree in autumn and some Yates liquid potash in the autumn and in the spring. Keep the roots cool in the summer by using a good mulch like sugarcane http://www.abc.net.au/gardening/stories/s2164092.htm I hope this helps
