Phil
how do I control citrus rust mite?

Submitted: 01:15PM, 29 Aug 2015
Answer: Hi Phil,

We have a product called Nature’s Way Vegie & Herb Spray, Natrasoap which will control a number of pests including mites. Citrus Rust Mite is active mid spring/summer and attacks the developing young fruit. Because it is such a tiny creature, it is difficult to see with the naked eye. It would be advisable to spray the tree including foliage and fruit every 7 days during the period when this pest is active. It is just a matter of monitoring your tree and using preventative measures so the fruit is not spoiled.
