i have mango tree in my home,i also want to grow a dates tree besides it,will it ok for mango

Answer: Date palms can grow to be very tall, this means that it is easier to grow other plants near it. As date palms can grow large enough they do not shade the plants next to them they can be grown next to other trees like mango. You need to make sure while the palm is small that it is not shaded by the mango and it is not out competed by the mango. Once it is established you should not have any problems growing it next to a mango.
