Medium_117_3488_1_ My passion fruit has holes on most of the leaves: some large some small.

It is about 2 years old, flowered in June (!) with no fruit. I had the same problem last year with the holes ...it freshened up but I notice the new growth is getting the holes too whereas last year that didn't happen. I have looked for snails and insects but found only one snail which I removed before the new growth starrted.

Answer: Hi Qwenith,
The chewing damage is quite large and could be due to possums. Have you noticed any in your backyard recently? Possums tend to run along fence lines and eat the new leaves and flowers. There are a couple of possum deterrent products that may be suitable to try.
If possible look at the vine in the early evening when caterpillars and snails are easier to find and destroy.
