I am growing an organic garden. After planting my seeds, when do I begin to use fertilizers and feed?

My organic garden is to grow nutrients for my bearded dragon. The garden will have to be free of pesticides and gmos. I have never gardened before and basically just put the seeds in organic soil.... Will I need fertilizers and feed? When do you use them? Also can you use fertilizers and feed that are free of chemicals?

Answer: Hello Ashley,

For your Organic garden we recommend Yates Dynamic Lifter Organic Plant Food. It can be dug into the soil before planting, and applied at the soil surface once your seedlings have become established (produced true leaves).

While every substance on earth is made up of what may be referred to as ‘chemicals’, Organic gardening requires the use of ‘naturally derived’ rather than synthetic substances. Yates Dynamic Lifter Organic Plant Food is produced from naturally derived substances, including composted chicken manure, blood and bone, fish meal and seaweed. All the very best with your Organic garden!

Kind regards,
