I have a teddy bear magnolia and it has lost a lot of its leaves, they turn yellow to brown and fall off.
I have been using an all purpose slow release fertiliser since I planted it about 18 months ago (this is what the nursery advised).
What can I use to help it?

Answer: Hi Melodie

Magnolia will have a turn over of leaves as a normal part of the growing process. Unless there are a large number of leaves this is happening too, then I would not be unduly worried. The process you have followed is the correct one, so all should be well.

Kind regards
